جدائی
الفراق اشد من الموت جدائی موت سے زیادہ سخت ہے
A COLLECTION OF FEELINGS & WORDS
Where emotions find their words,
and every feeling becomes a poem.
For the words we feel,
but never quite say.
A ROSE. A PAGE. A FEELING.وہ جو کہہ نہ سکے
some things live between the lines.EVERY FEELING HAS A PLACE
What is your heart holding today?
THE LITTLE ANTHOLOGY
Some words are read.
Others quietly become a part of you.
الفراق اشد من الموت جدائی موت سے زیادہ سخت ہے
تم آئے تو میں نے کوئی بڑا وعدہ نہیں کیا،
Tumhare liye maine kamra nahi badla,
I pull the second chair a little from the wall.
یا اللہ ایسی ہدایت دے جس کے بعد گمراہی نہ ہو۔
تمہارے جانے کے بعد میں نے کھڑکی بند نہیں کی،
Khat ke aakhir mein tumhara naam likhna tha,
After you leave, the hallway light
گملے کی مٹی میں آج ایک ننھی کونپل دیکھی۔
Aaj raasta kal se chhota chala hoon,
I did not finish the page tonight.
آج کا دن آسان نہ تھا، پھر بھی دسترخوان پر
دعا کے بعد میں نے آسمان کو دیکھا،
میں نے چراغ سے سارے راستے کی روشنی نہیں مانگی،
Try another feeling, word or language.

THE JOURNAL
Close reading
A practical reading method using a window, a curtain and a sound mistaken for footsteps. Begin with what the poem actually shows, then make room for more than one reading.
Writing practice
Build a small poem around a cup, a key or a folded letter. This workshop moves from observation to a first draft, with clear choices you can revise.
Craft & revision
See how the same sentence changes when its lines change. A worked exercise in pause, emphasis, expectation and reading a draft aloud.
FROM OUR READERS
Meet the community ↗تمہاری چیٹ مٹانے لگوں تو اُس میسج پر آ کر رک جاتی ہوں، جہاں تم نے لکھا تھا: ’’تم سے بات نہ ہو تو نیند نہیں آتی۔‘‘
تم نے تو بس میرا حال پوچھنا چھوڑا تھا، اب کوئی پوچھے، ’’کیسی ہو؟‘‘
A MOMENT TO PAUSE
یا اللہ ایسی ہدایت دے
جس کے بعد گمراہی نہ ہو۔Ya Allah, guide us with a guidance after which we never go astray.
A dua close to the heart · From Ayesha’s shared words
“Where every word
has a soul.”
THE HEART BEHIND THE WORDS
This is my little corner for poetry, emotions, thoughts and beautiful words. A place for the things that stay with us: love, the ache of missing someone, a quiet prayer, and the courage to begin again.
Here, Urdu, Roman Urdu and English sit side by side. However a feeling arrives, there is room for it.
If you’ve ever felt more than you could say,
you’re in the right place.
Take a little softness with you.
